Columbia Bank is seeking an experienced senior accounting leader to oversee the full accounts payable cycle and reimbursement processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will manage a dispersed accounting team, drive operational improvements, and foster a high-performance culture aligned with our strategic objectives.

The role requires 5-7 years of senior accounting/finance experience with 2-4 years in supervision, and strong US GAAP/SEC/SOX knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years senior accounting/finance experience.
• 2-4 years supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of bank policies, internal controls, general ledger and related reporting.
• Ability to manage complex projects concurrently.
• Strong communication and staff training skills.
• Experience applying US GAAP, SEC, and SOX in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable operations and reimbursement processes.
• Develop and maintain internal operating controls to support GL integrity and reporting.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly financial and management reporting.
• Lead staff; supervise units; guide workflows and performance.
• Hire, coach, and mentor staff; drive department objectives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and training across the bank.
