Columbia Bank is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and reimbursement operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will manage a dispersed accounting team, drive controls, and deliver monthly financial reporting.

The role requires 5–7 years in senior accounting, 2–4 years in supervision, and strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and bank regulations. Onsite at a Lakewood, WA location with broad collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of senior accounting/finance experience.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of bank policies, internal controls, GL and related systems.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, SOX and banking regulations.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle of accounts payable operations and reimbursements.
• Develop and maintain policies and internal controls for GL integrity.
• Provide accurate monthly financial and management reporting.
• Administer accounting support for acquisitions, expansions, system changes.
• Lead staff, supervise units, mentor, and guide workflows.
• Hire, evaluate performance, and manage personnel decisions.
• Ensure compliance with bank regulations and training requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects.
