You will lead a team, supervise staff, and collaborate with multiple departments on broader projects, including policy development and system conversions. The position requires 5–7 years in accounting with supervisory experience and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of senior accounting/finance experience or equivalent education.
• 2-4 years in a supervisory role.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, and banking regulations.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of schedules and regulatory reports for external audiences including SEC, IRS, and FDIC.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to support ledger integrity and reporting.
• Provide timely monthly financial and management reporting and ad hoc analyses.
• Support planning acquisitions, expansions, system conversions, and cross-department projects.
• Lead staff; hire, train, and conduct performance reviews.
