KLS Martin Group seeks an detail-oriented Accounting Operations Associate to own day-to-day AR/AP cycles, cash application, billing, and vendor payments. You will be a key partner to the accounting team to maintain accurate and timely financial records as the company grows.

The role involves processing cash receipts, checks, and deposits, managing vendor records, and performing full-cycle disbursements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years AR/AP experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Prior SAP experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve short-pays, unapplied cash, and payment discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and research discrepancies with vendors/internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain vendor master records and set up new vendors and banking templates.
• Process payment proposals and prepare payment runs (check, ACH, wire).
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end accruals.
• Audit and approve expense reports; coordinate resolution of non-compliant reimbursements.
