Job summary

Rayner Surgical Group is seeking a senior finance leader to head day-to-day accounting operations for the US and Canada. You will manage the general ledger, AR/AP, treasury, and month-end close, while ensuring accuracy, controls, and compliance.

You will deliver financial analysis to guide business decisions and support audits. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, experience directing a finance team, and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience managing GL, AR, AP, treasury, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and supporting budgeting/variance analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations for US and Canada.
• Oversee GL, AR, AP, treasury activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end close, compliance with standards and controls.
• Support tax compliance activities and audits.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve findings.
• Mentor and develop the finance team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain data integrity and drive process improvements in finance.
