Kikoff Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in San Francisco to own operating expenses and the general ledger across multiple entities. You will lead the monthly close, build scalable processes, and drive accuracy and transparency in our financials.

This hands-on role reports to the US Controller, manages a two-person team, and partners with Finance and business leads to ensure reliable numbers and scalable systems as we grow. Compensation reflects a base range with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with US GAAP and close processes.
• Experience owning close and GL in multi-entity environments.
• Ability to build scalable processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Oversee non-revenue accounting: expenses, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, equity.
• Manage AP function and guide AR oversight.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate anomalies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to validate financial data.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external advisors.
• Develop and mentor a small accounting team.
