Job summary

Well-Funded Clean Energy Company in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Accounting Manager to build and scale the financial infrastructure for a rapidly growing industrial enterprise. You will lead the monthly close, design and implement scalable accounting processes, and partner with leadership, engineering, operations, and external advisors to drive strategic insights.

The ideal candidate brings strong US GAAP judgment, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and the ability to drive initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of complex processes.
• Strong command of US GAAP and ASC 606/ASC 842 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, financial statement accuracy.
• Develop and improve scalable accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Oversee accruals, PO reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
