Job summary

Quvia is seeking an Accounting Manager to own day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly close across U.S. and UK entities.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will shape controls, processes, and systems as the company scales, working closely with the Controller and CFO. This hands-on role requires leading general ledger, close cycles, GAAP compliance, intercompany eliminations, UK statutory reporting, and close automation using NetSuite and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. SaaS/tech or public accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Experience with foreign currency in a multi-currency environment (ASC 830).
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, including reports, saved searches, and close workflows.
• Experience supporting annual financial statement audits.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all general ledger activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Perform multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency remeasurement/translation (ASC 830).
• Maintain accounting for leases (ASC 842) and stock-based compensation (ASC 718).
• Oversee UK subsidiary accounting, statutory reporting, and coordination with UK accountants/tax advisors.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Support consolidation for audited financial statements and tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and documented close procedures.
• Drive optimization and automation of accounting workflows in NetSuite and connected systems.
• Apply AI tools to reduce manual close effort while ensuring audit-ready outputs.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff.
