Job summary

Conduit Power is seeking an Accounting Manager in Houston, TX to lead the core accounting function, overseeing month-end close, general ledger integrity, Accounts Payable, and reconciliations. You will supervise staff, manage ERCOT settlements, and collaborate with Finance on budgeting, analysis, and reporting as the company scales.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with 7+ years of experience, CPA preferred, and hands-on NetSuite ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience with at least 3 in a supervisory or managing role.
• Hands-on experience with mid-tier ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close calendar and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and capitalization guidance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze balance sheet and P&L variances; support audits and annual budgets.
• Develop ERP functionality with NetSuite to scale with growth.
• Supervise staff, conduct reviews, and mentor for growth.
• Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes.
