Job summary

Veritas Partners is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting for a renewable energy portfolio in Houston. This role oversees complex accounting standards, supports securitizations, and leads IPO readiness initiatives.

A CPA and 5+ years in technical accounting are required, with preference for Big Four exposure and HLVB/tax equity familiarity. The position offers a base salary range of $160,000–$200,000, plus a 20% annual bonus target and a 20% LTIP, with hybrid or remote options and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with technical accounting responsibility.
• CPA required; Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience with tax equity structures, HLVB methods, and renewable energy accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, interpretation, and implementation of complex accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, consolidation, debt/equity classification).
• Support securitizations, structured financings, and complex capital markets transactions.
• Manage purchase price accounting and post-acquisition integration for asset/portfolio acquisitions.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, and external advisors on tax equity structures and solar entities.
• Prepare memos and position papers; support external audits and IPO readiness.
