Job summary

GreenSource Fabrication is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, close processes, and financial reporting. The role covers general ledger, inventory and cost accounting, and internal controls within a manufacturing setting.

The candidate will manage a team, align with executives, and ensure compliance with FAR/CAS for government contracts while driving process improvements and ERP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial close.
• Experience with FAR/CAS government contracting is a plus.
• Leadership and development of accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end close and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and intercompany reporting.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting including costing methodologies and variances.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements (FAR/CAS).
• Drive accounting system improvements, internal controls, and process enhancements.
• Coordinate external audit and banking covenant reporting.
• Analyze financial results and collaborate with leaders to explain variances.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff and promote accountability.
