Job summary

Aureate in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing real estate investment and development firm. You will oversee accounting operations across several entities, lead a team of three Staff Accountants, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and tax-ready statements.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will drive month-end close, consolidate reporting, and partner with external tax and audit partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Experience in construction or academic setting.
Understanding of procurement procedures and inventory management.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple operating entities.
Post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions.
Maintain general ledger integrity and support month-end close.
Monitor project costs and budget allocations for developments and investments.
Maintain internal controls and assist with audits and external reporting.
