Job summary

Lauber Business Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager for a direct search role in Manitowoc, WI. The incumbent will lead the accounting function in a growing manufacturing environment, overseeing operations and internal controls while partnering with executive leadership.

Responsibilities include GAAP-compliant financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. The role offers visibility and opportunities for process improvements in a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA, CMA, or other advanced certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends and variances, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Support leadership with timely, accurate reporting to inform business decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting processes and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and general ledger functions.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and coordinate annual audits.
