Job summary

Uline, a leading distributor of shipping and packaging materials, seeks an Accounting Manager at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will lead the Corporate Accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and drive improvements across North American operations.

You will manage month-end close, mentor Supervisors, and collaborate with leadership to support business goals. On-site role with opportunities to enhance processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA designation with 5+ years of accounting experience is required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a corporate environment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle G/L or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Uline’s Corporate Accounting team, strengthening internal controls, improving processes and supporting ERP system enhancements.
• Coach and develop Accounting Supervisors and their teams, building a culture of accountability, growth and high performance.
• Oversee key Accounting areas such as financial and cost accounting, leases, fixed assets, cash and other operational accounting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and financial statement preparation, analyzing results and variances to deliver accurate, timely reporting.
• Partner with leadership to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives aligned with company goals.
