Job summary

Talentedge is seeking a senior accounting leader to help build and scale the US Accounting function from NY. You will lead multi-entity close, enable strong reporting to management and the Board, and partner with Product & Engineering on automation initiatives, while stock options accompany the role.

The ideal candidate brings experience with hyper-growth SaaS environments, deep US GAAP/ASC 606 expertise, and a proven ability to influence across functions while working autonomously.

Qualifications

• Hyper-growth Series C-E scaleup experience (preferably pre-IPO).
• Strong US GAAP and ASC 606 grounding.
• Experience building automation-first processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-entity month-end close with analysis and commentaries.
• Support global audit process under PCAOB.

Working very closely with two NYC based employees that we’ve recently placed (Assistant Controller + Revenue Accounting Lead) as well as the wider Group function, you will be instrumental in building a world‑class AI‑native function.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead multi-entity month end close process with analysis and commentaries
• Support Global audit process under PCAOB
• Increase strength of management and Board reporting
• Continue to evolve and streamline Group processes and controls
• Partner cross‑functionally, working closely with Product & Engineering on process automation

Candidate profile:

• Hyper‑growth Series C‑E scaleup experience (preferably pre‑IPO)
• Strong US GAAP and ASC 606 grounding
• Experienced with building automation‑first processes and controls
• Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence
• NetSuite experience is highly advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
