Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 6–10+ years progressive accounting experience.
• CPA preferred, not required.
• Public accounting background preferred, not required.
• Strong experience with full-cycle close and GAAP-based financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable operating in growth-focused, evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet activity.
• Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support leadership decision-making.
• Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and depreciation.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Payroll, AP/AR, and Operations.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead or contribute to ERP implementations, system enhancements, and process cleanups.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor, review, and develop senior and junior accounting staff.
• Support preparation of executive- and board-level reporting.

• Prior experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role


• CPA preferred, not required
