Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the on-site accounting team at our Irving, TX dealerships. The role oversees financial planning, budgeting, and accounting practices to maintain the dealership's financial health and ethical standards.

The position emphasizes collaboration with dealership managers, compliance oversight, and leadership responsibilities. Candidates should have automotive accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years accounting/office manager experience preferably automotive.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and investigative research skills are required.
• Computer literate; competence in ADP and other finance applications is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and vendors.
• Must possess people management and leadership skills.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must be able to pass pre employment screens (background and drug test).

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with dealership managers to resolve issues between the shared processing center and dealership managers
• Routinereview of operating reports per Asbury requirements
• Hire, train, and counsel the compliance administrator
• Supervise compliance administrator and assist with deal flow and resolving problemdeal and CIT issues
• Workwith the title service provider to resolve documentation issues
• Attendmanager meetings regarding dealership operations, deal flow, and CIT
• Ensuredealership managers comply with Asbury policies and procedures and reportto the Market Controller any deviation from these policies
