You will own the month-end close, supervise two staff, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with leadership to streamline processes while maintaining strong internal controls in a privately held, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience owning or significantly contributing to month-end close.
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Experience overseeing or mentoring accounting staff.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger business picture.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn, improve, and take on new challenges.
• Comfortable working primarily onsite in Cedar Park.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the business.
• Manage and support two direct reports focused on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, account activity, and other key accounting work.
• Maintain strong internal controls and help improve accounting processes over time.
• Partner closely with leadership and serve as a trusted accounting resource for the organization.
• Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient, accurate, and scalable.
• Take on additional projects and areas of responsibility over time based on your interests and strengths.
