Job summary

Professional Contract Services, Inc. (PCSI) is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the corporate Accounting team and partner with the VP of Finance & Controller. You’ll guide month-end close, oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and internal controls while leading and developing the accounting staff.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule (up to 2 remote days/week) based at the Austin, TX headquarters. Must reside in the Austin metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/general-ledger/financial-reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed-asset additions, depreciation, and disposals; manage schedules.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting, and audit support.
• Coach and develop the Accounting team; drive process improvements.
