Job summary

TCP Analytical, an integrated manufacturer and distributor serving life science research and chemical markets, seeks an Accounting Manager in Zelienople, PA. You will oversee GL/AR/AP across multiple entities, manage month-end closes, and lead a team to ensure accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent with experience.
• 5–10 years of accounting work experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
• High level knowledge of ERP systems and transaction processes.
• Excellent time management and communication skills, with timely email responsiveness.
• Strong supervision and employee development abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to identify process improvements and implement recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trial balance and general ledger for multiple entities.
• Perform account reconciliations and month-end close tasks.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyses.
• Provide reserves for excess/obsolete inventory and bad debt allowances.
• Oversee AR/AP processes, cash collections, invoicing, and disbursements.
• Lead the accounting team and ensure timely month-end close across subsidiaries.
• Analyze variances and explain monthly results to management.
• Ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance across operations.
• Understand product costing and evaluate cost variances for improvements.
