The role reports to the CEO, overseeing AP/AR, GL, and monthly close, with a focus on project budgets and profitability.

Strong Mandarin, Excel, and QuickBooks skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• QuickBooks experience required.
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese.
• Senior Accountant ready to move into management.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Construction/real estate development industry experience is a plus.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial statements and provide reporting and insights to executive leadership.
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, profitability, subcontractor payments, and project financial performance.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on strategic financial decision-making and process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor an Accounting Clerk while helping build scalable accounting processes.
