Ledgent-Finance- is partnering with a growing Southern California design-build and real estate development company to hire an Accounting Manager who will lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and project accounting for multiple active construction projects.

You will report to the CEO and supervise an Accounting Clerk, driving process improvements and accurate financial management to support strategic decisions during a growth phase.

Formación

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese required.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Senior Accountant ready to step into management role encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial statements and provide reporting and insights to executive leadership.
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, profitability, subcontractor payments, and project financial performance.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on strategic financial decision-making and process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor an Accounting Clerk while helping build scalable accounting processes.

• Construction, real estate development, or architecture/design industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance
