Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the district accounting team in Long Beach, CA. You will ensure strong internal controls, reliable reporting, and effective execution of core accounting processes, while guiding staff and aligning with company policies.

You will deliver timely financial reporting, perform ad hoc analyses, and support forecasting to drive strategic decisions. CPA preferred and construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including leadership/supervisory experience.
• Construction or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial deliverables and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead planning and forecasting cycles aligned with district and corporate goals.
• Maintain strong internal controls and oversee audits and regulatory documentation.
• Provide timely financial reporting and forward-looking analysis to leadership.
