Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day General Ledger, Partner and Affiliate Accounting, Treasury, and International Accounting in the US. Reporting to the Regional Head of Finance – US, this hands-on leader oversees close, reporting, reconciliations, audits, and tax deliverables while guiding the GL team.

The role blends technical accounting, team leadership, and process improvement, with potential to expand leadership responsibilities within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10–15 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• CPA certification preferred; law firm or professional services experience desired.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, tax-basis accounting, general accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
• Experience with multi-entity and international affiliate accounting, treasury operations, and banking relationships.
• Experience supporting audits and external tax advisory engagements.

Responsabilités

• Lead and Develop the Accounting Team: Manage, coach, and develop the General Ledger team and promote accountability.
• Oversee General Ledger and Financial Close: Manage monthly and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct complex analyses, review entries, and prepare management reports.
• Oversee Audit, Tax, and Compliance Activities: Coordinate audits, GAAP reviews, regulatory filings, and tax compliance.
• Manage Partner and Affiliate Accounting: Oversee partner capital, payroll, and related tax reporting.
• Direct Treasury and Cash Management: Oversee daily cash, projections, and banking relationships.
• Maintain Financial Systems and Controls: Administer 3E GL and system admin for BlackLine/BNA.
• Drive Process Improvement: Implement improvements to procedures and controls.
• Support Senior Finance Leadership: Backup for RHoF-US and develop toward broader leadership.
