Job summary

Basis is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the Accounting team, applying strong U.S. GAAP knowledge across equity, leases, revenue, and business combinations.

You will drive month-end close, ensure accurate reporting, and work with auditors to support external financial statements. You will guide process improvements, leverage AI tools to boost efficiency, and partner with FP&A and tax to deliver timely close and high-quality disclosures.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Experience communicating financial results to stakeholders.
• Ability to lead fast-paced accounting teams and meet deadlines.
• Experience with process documentation and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Guide month-end close with accurate revenue/cost recording and journal entries.
• Mentor and lead the Accounting team and support career development.
• Lead the annual internal/external audit process.
• Coordinate preparation of US GAAP financial statements and footnotes.
