Job summary

Vacatia, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead critical accounting functions and strengthen the financial foundation supporting growth.

You will own the close process, oversee journal entries, and mentor a growing accounting team within a multi-entity hospitality context. This leadership role focuses on accurate financial reporting, audits, and cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Operations, Revenue, and Leadership to drive scalable, compliant processes and modernized reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred and beneficial for leadership roles.
• Experience with multi-entity hospitality or real estate accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Maintain GL integrity and ensure GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Lead internal and external audits, including documentation and responses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and internal controls.
• Support integration of new resorts, entities, or acquisitions into accounting systems.
• Identify and lead process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Coach and mentor accounting team members to drive performance.
