Job summary

Vacatia is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and financial analysis across a multi-entity hospitality portfolio. You will partner with corporate finance, resort operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver timely insights that drive operational decisions.

You will maintain GAAP compliance, improve accounting processes, and contribute to the integration of new resorts or acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi-entity environments.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with accounting systems and general ledger management.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
• CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reviews.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and strengthen internal controls.
• Support the integration of new resorts or acquisitions into accounting systems and processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in financial reporting.

What You Bring
