Job summary

OneDigital is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of the accounting department at our Rockwall, TX location. You will analyze data, produce financial reports, and enforce accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in a similar position, 3+ years in management, CPA a plus, and strong Excel and CRM skills. Onsite work with a broad benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area.
• CPA a plus.
• Excel level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft CRM preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar financial position.
• 3+ years experience in a people management role.
• Experience with insurance brokerage operations, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department to include the: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
