Job summary

CFS in Hudson, Ohio is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function, manage the month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This leadership role oversees AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.

You will supervise accounting staff, collaborate with leadership on financial planning, and drive continuous process improvements while strengthening internal controls and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets.
• Direct monthly and annual close processes and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and monitor internal controls and policies.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff for performance and growth.
