Beacon Hill is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead the month-end close process, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This hands-on role partners with leadership to drive process improvements and maintain GAAP compliance.

The position emphasizes supervising staff, managing reconciliations and audits, and preparing financial statements while supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and staff.
• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Coordinate audits and respond to audit requests.
• Provide insights to leadership through financial analysis.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
