Job summary

Vector Recruiting LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Supervisor in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, internal financial reporting, and team leadership across general ledger activities.

You will drive process improvements, ensure internal controls, and prepare ad hoc analyses. Strong communication and adaptability are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong understanding and application of GAAP.
• Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Perform and/or review complex accounting reconciliations and analyses.
• Direct activities of teams responsible for general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets and capital expenditures.
