You will translate numbers into clear insights for leadership and drive improvements in processes and controls. This on-site role collaborates with operations and finance, overseeing AP/AR, payroll backup, budgeting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 4–5+ years hands-on general ledger and month-end close.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/wholesale distribution.
• 2+ years cost accounting with inventory analysis.
• Solid GAAP and internal controls understanding.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
• 3+ years leading an accounting team.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem solving, planning, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and improve timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain complete, accurate general ledger and deliver financial statements.
• Lead inventory/cost accounting: valuation, COGS, landed costs, variances.
• Run variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and annual budget with rolling projection.
• Oversee AP/AR/payroll backup and HR interactions.
• Enforce internal controls and update SOPs; support ISO 9001.
• Manage accounting team's lifecycle and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with operations to fix issues at the source.
