Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced senior accountant to lead month-end close, supervise on- and off-site accounting staff, and ensure data integrity across receivables, payables, and payroll. You will drive the period-end close and provide accurate financial statements, with a focus on internal controls and SOX compliance.

The role requires a CPA and 10+ years of accounting leadership, with strong GAAP knowledge and Oracle/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with prior supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and supervise senior staff accountants and accounting support assistants.
• Ensure timely processing of receivables, receipts, payrolls, payables, etc., for month-end closing.
• Lead period-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Analyze reconciliations for bank accounts, GL, and sub-ledgers.
• Review barter files and quarterly barter activity reports.
• Monitor receivables balances and reserves; manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company procedures/SOX requirements.
• Oversee audit processes and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Provide data for forecasting and budgeting with Director/VP Finance.
• Assist with special projects and coordinating staff schedules.
