Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Sr. Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division. This role blends transactional work with intermediate to advanced accounting tasks, requiring self-motivation and ability to multitask.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting/finance, and strong problem-solving and communication skills; Oracle experience is a plus in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX controls
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with general ledger month-end close processes

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis
• Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation
• Prepare balance sheet analyses and reconciliations with documentation of issues
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies/SOX requirements
• Maintain and reconcile complex accounts as needed
• Support divisional management with ad hoc corporate requests
• Assist with special projects as assigned
