Roth’s Fresh Markets seeks an Accounting Manager to lead financial activities within the Finance and Accounting team in Oregon. The role focuses on close processes, inventory valuation, and strong internal controls to ensure accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include partnering with merchandising and finance, preparing statements, supporting audits, and driving process improvements while mentoring a growing team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Minimum 2 years management, supervisory and/or leadership experience.
• CPA preferred; travel ~5% to various store locations.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting of costs, inventory, and supply chain costs.
• Review and analyze inventory entries for accurate valuation and reporting.
• Partner with Merchandising and Finance to identify opportunities to optimize store performance.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy of inventories and explain variances.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations including inventory and distribution center accounts.
• Publish timely financial statements and analysis for management.
• Support external audits and raise technical accounting issues for analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; drive process improvements.
