Job summary

Element Fleet Management in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the NA operational lease accounting team, overseeing monthly close, reporting, and SOX-compliant controls. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA, and strong Excel skills. A Master's degree and ERP/SQL/Power BI experience are preferred. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA designation required.
• Progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, including month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting principles.
• Experience leading or supervising accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly financial close, including journal entries and timely reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and SOX controls.
• Analyze period results and provide management with insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on reporting implications for new products and initiatives.
• Lead and develop four accounting team members.
