VERSANT Media seeks a Manager, Accounting for News, Entertainment and Sports to lead monthly/ quarterly closes and ensure GAAP compliance for TV Networks revenue streams. You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages, collaborating with Finance and IT to enhance systems and control environments.

Hybrid role with mentorship of junior staff and partnership with Controllership, Legal, and FP&A to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Entertainment industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly and quarterly close for TV Networks per US GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze internal financial statements and reporting packages.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT on reporting systems.
• Ensure SOX compliance and respond to audits.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with business units.
