Job summary

IntelliPro seeks a Retail General Accounting Manager to oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls across North America and beyond. You will guide junior staff, perform technical accounting research, and partner with auditors to ensure timely reviews.

The role requires 6+ years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in accounting, and strong initiative. This is a 05-month engagement with possible extension, based in Farmers Branch, TX with hybrid work three days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; 6+ years of experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead close processes and mentor staff.
• Strong analytical, time management, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close duties and journal entries with accuracy.
• Coordinate with global accounting partners and auditors.
• Analyze complex transactions and determine proper accounting.
• Prepare reconciliations and communicate unreconciled items.
• Identify process improvements and ensure SOX compliance.
