Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an Accounting Manager to lead client accounting, including full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, KPI reporting, and more. The role offers a hybrid schedule, strong bonus potential, and a 5% employer 401K contribution.

Responsibilities include supervising engagement teams, ensuring timely, accurate financials, and engaging in business development activities. Strong English skills and CPA eligibility are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in accounting (manager level or equivalent).
• Thorough understanding of double-entry accounting (US GAAP).
• Knowledge of taxation matters including individual, corporate, sales, and property taxes.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communications.
• Ability to travel to client or firm locations as needed.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagement teams on multiple engagements ensuring scope compliance.
• Maintain bank, vendor and payroll records for clients.
• Prepare month-end packages under accrual or cash basis accounting.
• Assist clients with budgets, forecasts or projections.
• Develop dashboards and KPI metrics for clients.
