Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an Accounting Manager to lead client accounting across a diverse client base, handling full charge bookkeeping, trial balances, payroll, and KPI reporting with a hybrid work option.

The role oversees engagement teams, delegates to senior staff, and participates in business development. Requirements include 7–10 years in accounting, US GAAP knowledge, a bachelor’s degree, strong Excel, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years’ accounting experience, with lead/manager responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and robust accounting records management.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP; taxation basics including personal, corporate, sales, and property taxes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagement teams to ensure work aligns with scope and deadlines.
• Delegate work to Senior Accountants, Staff, and Interns with supervision and training.
• Engage in business development and client proposals; ensure timely client communications.
• Prepare and review month-end/period-end packages under accrual or cash basis accounting.
• Develop dashboards and KPI metrics for clients; monitor budgets and overruns.
