Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group in Exton, PA is seeking an Accounting Manager to support all accounting-related activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-end close analysis. You will review close processes, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, assist business partners, and drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review period-end close activities, including recording and reviewing journal entries and expense accruals, and performing financial analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations by established deadlines.
• Assist business partners' understanding of accounting activities.
• Drive process improvements, including automation of close functions and template standardization.
• Approve or perform tasks such as cash fundings and intercompany settlements.
• Review and/or prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Job description

The Accounting Manager will support all accounting-related activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis of the period-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Review assigned areas from the period-end financial close process, including recording and reviewing journal entries, reviewing expense accruals, and performing financial analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations within the established deadlines
• Assist business partner's understanding of accounting activities
• Handle process improvements, including automation of certain close functions and template standardization.
• Approve or perform various operational tasks, such as cash fundings and settlement of intercompany receivables and payables.
• Review and/or prepare various ad-hoc analyses, as needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field with experience in public accounting being a strong preference
• Strong understanding of U.S GAAP
