Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and manage the monthly close process. You will ensure accurate financial statements and provide insights to support strategic decisions.

You will reconcile accounts, manage the general ledger, and collaborate with auditors while staying current with GAAP and regulatory changes. CPA preferred and 5+ years in accounting/finance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
