Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager in Denver, CO to lead a small accounting team and own the monthly close process. The role partners with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, tight controls, and efficient processes in a tech-enabled services environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on close experience, AP/AR oversight, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel. Competitive compensation and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience with hands-on close ownership.
• Minimum 2 years supervising accounting staff.
• End-to-end AP/AR knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel/M365.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Staff Accountants and an Accounting Assistant, directing daily priorities.
• Own monthly close calendar and prepare draft financial statements.
• Oversee AP cycle, vendor payments, invoicing, and AR collections.
• Maintain internal controls and audit-ready workpapers.
• Drive process improvements and system automation.
