Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations and financial statement preparation. You will manage A/P and A/R, ensure timely payments and collections, and maintain vendor/customer data in QuickBooks Online.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with AR/AP experience a plus.
• Familiarity with GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• ERP/MRP systems knowledge: JobBOSS; AS400 and Infor a plus.
• Experience with Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, including monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Review and enhance the GL account structure to support accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate records, and effective collection of outstanding customer balances.
• Maintain customer and vendor records in QuickBooks Online and optimize system utilization.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, presentations, and budget variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory activity, support cycle count programs, and lead annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules, additions, disposals, and asset tracking.
• Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and backlog tracking processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Generate internal financial reports and provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned.
