Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an Accounting Manager to own monthly, quarterly, and annual close under US GAAP, with responsibility for revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and complex accounting areas. The role will strengthen SOX 404 controls and coordinate with external auditors while guiding a growing accounting team in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Active CPA with deep US GAAP and ASC knowledge.
• 5–8 years of combined public accounting and industry experience.
• Experience with SEC reporting and XBRL tagging is a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP financial statements.
• Research and document technical accounting positions (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718).
• Maintain and strengthen SOX 404 controls and coordinate with auditors.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses in NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Lead and develop accounting team, and automate close processes.
• Prepare SEC deliverables including 10-Q/10-K support and XBRL tagging.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and Revenue teams on contract reviews and policy updates.
