Job summary

EVgo is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Accounting to lead multiple accounting teams and own the general ledger close. You will ensure quality, control discipline, and process rigor while partnering with the Controller on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include close oversight, technical accounting, SOX compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, tax, and legal. Strong leadership and NetSuite experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience and supervisory background.
• Experience with public company environments and Big 4 audit coordination.
• Mastery of US GAAP across ASC 360, 842, and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-team close and technical accounting across areas.
• Provide escalation point for complex transactions and journal entries.
• Oversee SOX documentation, testing, and audit coordination.
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
