Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Controller and oversee the accounting team. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; five years of experience and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office; ability to prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in daily accounting activities across GL, AR, AP functions.
• Supervise payroll function and payroll coordinator.
• Oversee accounting for subsidized housing and HUD rental calculations.
• Prepare financial statements and analyses; ensure GAAP compliance.
