Job summary

Onto Innovation in Massachusetts seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. This role partners with finance, tax, treasury, and external auditors to guarantee GAAP compliance while providing meaningful financial insights to management.

You will lead accounting staff, manage general ledger, intercompany transactions, and corporate allocations, and drive process improvements and system

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Experience supervising accounting professionals
• Proficiency with enterprise accounting systems and Excel
• CPA or CMA preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Review balance sheet and income statement accounts; analyze variances
• Oversee general ledger, allocations, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany
• Support audit requests and documentation for conclusions
• Lead and develop accounting staff; drive process improvements
