Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA seeks an Accounting Manager to lead and execute accounting across departments. You will oversee two Lead Accountants, ensure general ledger integrity, and support consolidation and external audits. Strong GAAP knowledge and ASC 606 experience are essential.

Normal hours are 8:30 am–5:00 pm, on-site in Augusta. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and five years of accounting experience are required; NetSuite/Oracle familiarity and CPA are preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required and five years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Oracle accounting and NetSuite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and reconcile accounts for designated departments on a month-end close.
• Analyze contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition and record related entries.
• Review department results, partner with leaders to diagnose issues and drive action.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable activity and provide AR analytics to management.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under GAAP and oversee close processes.
• Manage, mentor, and develop two Lead Accountants; review their work.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide schedules and documentation.
• Maintain internal controls; update SOPs and document processes.
• Support tournament-related non-routine and annual activities.
