Job summary

F&A Technologies LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the month-end close under the supervision of the Controller, ensuring GAAP-compliant financials. You will lead the close, manage cost reports, prepare monthly reports, invoices, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and support audits and budgeting. Some travel (<25%) is required.

Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 8–15 years GL experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word and Costpoint; CPA preferred; FAR knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

US GAAP knowledge required.
Experience with Government/Commercial Contracts preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Experience with a major ERP Financial Management system (Costpoint preferred).
Ability to collaborate professionally with operations and vendors.
CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end close, journal entries and GL analysis.
Manage indirect cost reports and submissions.
Prepare monthly financial reports for senior operations personnel.
Oversee month-end customer invoices and reconciliations.
Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Fixed Asset accounting.
Assist with year-end audit and budget development.
Manage state filing and registration process; sales and property tax return prep.
Perform special projects as assigned by Controller.
Occasional travel required (<25%).
